Lopez Foods is the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned meat processing company and is ranked among the top 25 elite red meat companies in the US. Our fully cooked beef, pork and chicken products are produced under Quick’N Eat Brands, Country Cousin brand and many private label brands available at retail establishments. Lopez Foods is also a supplier of beef, pork and chicken to the restaurant industry.

Lopez Foods began as Wilson Foods in 1968 as a supplier of fresh beef patties for the QSR industry. Frozen patties were added in 1971 and Canadian-Style Bacon in 1972. On January 2nd, 1992, John C. Lopez purchased controlling interest in the company and changed the name to Lopez Foods, Inc. John C. Lopez was a restaurant operator in Southern California and brought his philosophy of continuous search for excellence to Lopez Foods. His strength in team building and continuous drive to become a world class meat processor has been the driving force behind the success of Lopez Foods. Since 1992, Lopez Foods has evolved into an industry leader in the meat industry, supplying the largest restaurant chains and retailers in the world. On January 1st, 2004, Lopez Foods recruited long time food service veteran, Ed Sanchez to serve as President and CEO of Lopez Foods. He brings with him over 30 years of global strategic and operational experience in the management of restaurants. John C. Lopez remains as Chairman of Lopez Foods, Inc.

 

Oklahoma City Plant

The Oklahoma City plant is the largest plant that we operate at Lopez Foods. This plant is a USDA inspected facility encompassing 200,000 square feet, and produces frozen ground beef patties, partially cooked and fully cooked sausage patties and sliced Canadian-style bacon. The facility was built in 1991 and utilizes state of the art technology. We are proud to say that this facility employs an average of 525 associates in the Oklahoma City area. We are continuously reinvesting in the infrastructure of the facility and it is an industry as leader in food safety and manufacturing technologies. At our Oklahoma City plant we are dedicated to creating innovative high quality products. 

 

Campos Foods Plant

The Campos Food plant in Caryville, Tennessee is the latest addition to the Lopez Foods family. It is an 85,000 square foot facility that produces fully cooked frozen beef, pork and chicken products, including hamburger patties, sausage patties, meat loaf, Salisbury steak, rib patties and coated chicken breasts. We have the ability to ship products nationwide and employ approximately 185 associates. This facility gives us the opportunity to expand into additional product categories and provides us with a production and distribution facility in the eastern half of the country. At the Campos Foods Plant we persistently research new and innovative technologies that ensure safety and sanitation at all times and strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
