Community Involvement

Serving Our Community.

Lopez Foods is proud to take an active role in supporting our local communities.

Here are a few ways we enjoy giving back:

Regional Food Bank is a great organization that helps thousands of hungry Oklahomans every day. As an Oklahoma-based company, we are fortunate to be able to help our neighbors in need.” Ed Sanchez, president and CEO of Lopez Foods.

To date, Lopez Foods has donated more than 120,000 pounds of chicken patties to the Regional Food Bank, a non-profit organization that has provided more than 460-million pounds of food to schools and charitable feeding programs in 53 Oklahoma counties. “We’re lucky to have so many great partners, like Dorada Foods/Lopez Foods, throughout the state who are willing and able to help us fight hunger. High-protein donations such as this are especially valuable because they provide healthy, nutritious options to hungry Oklahomans.” – Rodney Bivens, Executive Director of the Regional Food Bank, referring to the 120,000 pounds of Chicken Patties donated by Lopez Foods.

MIO Collation

“Oklahoma is centrally located. So that’s a big advantage. The workforce here is fantastic. The local officials work with you in trying to motivate and create business. So it’s a very friendly business environment.” Ed Sanchez, president and CEO of Lopez Foods.

We are proud members of the MIO Coalition, a collective partnership of Oklahoma food and agricultural producers, processors, and manufacturers who are working to create brand awareness of Oklahoma food and agricultural products and grow the state’s food processing sector.
